Request, review, and settle invoices your team members issue for gigs.

Team Invoices let team members issue invoices to you for their work on a gig. They are organizer-facing records for paying your team — separate from client invoices and receipts.

Turning Team Invoicing On

Go to Dashboard > Settings > Team Defaults and turn on Team invoicing. When it is off, new invoice creation is hidden, but existing invoices remain manageable.

Requesting Invoices for a Gig

  1. Open a gig from the Gigs page
  2. Open the Team Members card
  3. Open the Invoices tab
  4. Click Request Invoices
  5. Review each team member and choose whether to auto-issue or email a request when available

The request modal skips ineligible rows, such as team members who already have an open invoice for that gig or do not have the needed team profile.

Team Invoices Dashboard

Go to Dashboard > Team Invoices to see invoices across all gigs. The dashboard shows:

Each gig also has its own Invoices tab so you can review only the invoices for that event.

Paying Team Members

Team Invoices do not move money automatically. Use the team member's listed payment handles to pay them outside GigOrganizer, then click Mark paid when settled.

Quick-pay buttons appear when the team member has payment handles saved:

  • Venmo, PayPal, and Cash App open payment links with amount and memo prefilled
  • Zelle shows the handle with a copy button because there is no universal Zelle deep link

Statuses

Common Questions

Do Team Invoices pay team members automatically?

No. They organize what you owe and provide quick-pay links when possible. You still send the payment through your chosen payment app or bank.

Can I issue another invoice for the same team member and gig?

Only one open standard invoice is allowed per team member per gig. Mark the open invoice paid or void it before issuing another.

What happens if Team invoicing is turned off later?

Existing invoices stay visible and manageable. New invoice creation is hidden until you turn Team invoicing back on.
