Performer defaults tell GigOrganizer which name, booking identity, and public booking page to use when you create contracts and capture leads.
Open Performer Settings
Go to Dashboard > Settings > Performers. If you book under one name, create one performer identity and mark it as the default. If you book under multiple names, create one identity for each act, ensemble, or business name.
What to Set Up
| Setting | Why It Matters |
|---|---|
| Performer name | Appears on contracts, forms, and dashboard gig records |
| Default performer | Preselects the right name when you create a new gig |
| Default fee | Helps GigOrganizer suggest the usual fee for that performer |
| Public profile | Gives clients a public booking page hosted by GigOrganizer |
| Lead form | Controls which inquiry form appears on the public page |
Public Booking Pages
A public booking page can show your performer name, a short description, and a booking inquiry form. It is useful when you want a shareable GigOrganizer page without embedding a form on your own website.
To publish one:
- Create or edit a performer identity
- Open the public profile settings
- Add a short public description
- Choose the lead form clients should use, or attach the form later from Dashboard > Leads > Forms
- Turn on the public profile and save
After it is published, share the public page URL anywhere you would normally send a booking link.
How It Connects to Leads
Public page submissions land in the same Lead Inbox as embedded inquiry forms and direct form links. You can update forms from Dashboard > Leads > Forms, then use Attach to public page or Public page links on a form card to connect that form to one or more performer public pages.
Common Questions
Do I need a public page to use lead forms?
No. You can use a direct inquiry link or embed a form on your own website.
Can I have more than one performer identity?
Yes. Use separate performer identities when different names, acts, or ensembles need different booking defaults.
Can I change the form on my public page later?
Yes. Update the public profile settings for that performer identity and choose a different lead form.
