The Organizer Digest is a periodic email that summarizes outstanding action items across all your gigs — the same follow-up suggestions you see on the Gigs Inbox, delivered to your inbox.
What It Contains
Each digest email includes:
- A count of total action items needing attention
- Gigs grouped by date, with event type and performer name
- Color-coded priority indicators (critical, high, medium, low) for each action item
- A direct "View Dashboard" link filtered to gigs needing action
Gigs with imminent events (within 2 days) are sorted to the top.
When It's Sent
The digest runs hourly but only delivers when your preferred delivery window is open. Delivery depends on several gates:

If no gigs have outstanding action items, the digest is skipped entirely.
Configuring Delivery
Go to Dashboard > Settings > Client Portal and open the Automation tab to configure:
- Frequency — Daily, every 3 days, weekly, or off
- Delivery days — Choose specific days of the week (e.g., Mon/Wed/Fri)
- Delivery time — The hour in your local timezone when the email arrives
- Timezone — Used to calculate your delivery window (defaults to America/Los_Angeles)
- Always send — Override the activity gate so digests arrive even if you've visited the dashboard
Urgency Override
Even if your next scheduled delivery is days away, the system sends an immediate digest when:
- A gig is within 2 days
- That gig has unresolved follow-up items
- At least 20 hours have passed since the last digest
This ensures you never miss critical pre-gig tasks.
Common Questions
Why didn't I receive a digest today?
The most common reasons: you visited the dashboard since the last digest (activity gate), there were no outstanding action items, or your delivery time hasn't arrived yet in your timezone.
Can I turn it off?
Yes. Set the frequency to "Off" in Settings > Client Portal > Automation.
Does it include past gigs?
Yes. Past gigs with outstanding follow-ups (e.g., unsent review requests, uncollected balance) appear in the digest.
