The Tax Center helps you track payments to team members and file 1099-NEC forms with the IRS.

Core Principle: "Assume Paid"

When a gig is completed and a team member was on the roster, the payment is auto-recorded. No manual entry needed for standard gigs.

The $600 Threshold

The IRS requires a 1099-NEC if you paid someone $600 or more in a calendar year. The Tax Center tracks this automatically.

Features

  • Tax Year Overview — See totals and what's left to do
  • Paid Team Members — List everyone you've paid with W-9 status
  • Payment Tracking — Auto-tracked from gigs + manual adjustments
  • W-9 Collection — Send secure W-9 requests to team members
  • TIN Verification — Automatic IRS verification of name + TIN before filing
  • 1099 Filing — File directly with the IRS via TaxBandits

Filing Credits

  • 1 Filing Credit = 1 1099-NEC filing
  • Purchase Filing Credits, or convert unused GigPacks

  4. File 1099 — Once verified, the 1099 is submitted to the IRS
